Who we are

MagnoRiva Global (“we”, “us”) is an AI-driven digital consultancy and product studio operating remotely across Europe and worldwide. We build websites, apps and AI solutions, and we publish applications on third-party platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, WordPress, Wix, Duda, Tilda, Weblium, Webflow, Squarespace, Magento / Adobe Commerce, PrestaShop, Shopware and others. Scope

This policy covers (a) this website, and (b) the apps and integrations we publish on third-party platforms (our “Apps”). Where an App is installed on a merchant’s store or site, the merchant is the data controller for their customers’ data and MagnoRiva Global acts as a data processor on their behalf. This policy does not cover the platforms themselves, which have their own privacy policies.

What we collect on this website

• Contact form submissions: name, email, company, country, the service you’re interested in, and your message. This becomes a lead in our internal workspace so we can respond.
• Assistant conversations: if you chat with our on-site assistant, we store the messages and any name, email or phone number you choose to share so we can follow up.
• Email marketing: if you subscribe, we store your email address, name and segmentation tags. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Staff authentication: our team signs in with an email and password to access the internal workspace. We store their name and email.
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) processed transiently to deliver and secure the site.

What our Apps collect

When a merchant installs one of our Apps, the App may access only the data needed for the feature set the merchant enabled. Depending on the App and the platform, this can include:

• Store / site data: store name, domain, plan, currency, locale, owner contact details and the installing account’s email, provided by the platform at install time.
• Catalogue and content data: products, collections, pages, media, inventory and pricing, used for features such as AI search, recommendations, CMS tooling and automations.
• Order and fulfilment data: orders, line items, shipping addresses and fulfilment status, where the App provides logistics, dropship or vendor-management features.
• Customer data: where a feature requires it (for example order notifications or personalised recommendations), name, email, phone and address of the merchant’s customers.
• Storefront usage events: anonymous or pseudonymous interaction events (searches, clicks, product views) used to power search and recommendation quality.

We request the minimum permission scopes required. We do not use merchant or end-customer data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

AI processing

Some features use AI models to generate text, recommendations or search results. Content you or the App sends for processing may be transmitted to our AI provider solely to return a result. We do not permit our AI providers to use this content to train their models, and we do not send more data than the feature requires.

Why we use it

To provide and operate the Apps and their features, respond to enquiries, deliver our services, send marketing emails only with consent, provide support, prevent abuse, improve reliability and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

Legal basis (GDPR)

• Consent — when you submit a form, chat with our assistant or subscribe to emails.
• Contract — when we deliver services, or when a merchant installs and uses an App.
• Legitimate interests — to operate and secure our website and Apps and respond to enquiries.
• Legal obligation — where we are required to retain records.

How long we keep it

Website leads and contact records are kept for as long as needed to deliver services and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. App data is retained while the App is installed and deleted within 30 days of uninstall, unless a longer period is required by law. Merchants may request earlier deletion at any time.

Sharing and sub-processors

We share data only with processors that help us operate — hosting and database infrastructure, transactional and marketing email delivery, and AI model providers — under appropriate data-protection terms, or where required by law. Platform providers (Shopify, Wix, WordPress hosts, etc.) process data under their own agreements with the merchant.

International transfers

We operate globally and our providers may process data outside your country. Where data leaves the EEA or UK, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored on managed infrastructure with access controls and row-level security. Access to production data is limited to authorised team members who need it.

Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to object, to portability, and to withdraw consent. If you are the customer of a merchant using one of our Apps, please contact that merchant first; we will assist them in responding. To reach us directly, email info@magnorivaglobal.com.

Cookies

This site uses a minimal cookie consent preference stored in your browser. We do not load third-party tracking or advertising scripts. Our Apps use only the cookies or local storage needed for the feature to function on the merchant’s storefront.

Children

Our website and Apps are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
